It was in 1987 that several medium to high-end TV, hi-fi and video equipment retailers launched the Group Digital specialist network. Nearly 20 years on the group boasts 200 outlets across France thanks to an initial spirit, which encapsulates the brand’s three core values: education, proximity and engagement.

By joining forces with the League Cup in 2004, Group Digital chose visibility. The company can be seen on TV broadcasts but is also visible around the pitch with three advertising hoardings at every game and around the partnership presentations. They also have tickets which can be won by their clients.

  GORENJE
Founded in 1950, GORENJE is the largest exporter in Slovenia and one of the largest European producers of domestic electrical products. Listed on the stock exchange, GORENJE puts over 3.4 million domestic electrical products per year on the market. 90% of its production is exported (65% of which goes to the EU with Germany, Austria, France and Scandinavia the current priorities).
The company is now present in over 60 countries worldwide and employs nearly 11,000 people. In 2005 the company’s revenues were more than 1 billion Euros.

As football is by far and away France’s most popular sport and after a successful association with Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, GORENJE wished to strengthen its presence within professional football. They have extended the contract to sponsor Nice’s shirts and have also become an official partner of the League Cup. They have a logo on all the shorts of the players playing in the League Cup and there are also advertising hoardings around the pitch. This allows Gorenje to strengthen it’s presence across the country.
